Client Showcase: Congratulations Bay Area Pet Pals!

If you know anything about us and our web design business, you know that we really do enjoy helping people grow their businesses by making them a strong online presence and providing them with exceptional marketing materials. But it’s not all about us – it is truly about what our clients do with what we give them and what they have inside. Possessing an entrepreneurial spirit and a drive to succeed are important additions to a good business.

We are so proud and happy for one of our clients and her dog-walking and pet-sitting business. She is really amazing at what she does.

Lynda Mortensen, Owner and Founder of Bay Area Pet Pals located in San Mateo, California is an inspiration. This year her business has been chosen as a winner of one of San Francisco Magazine’s 2015 Best of San Francisco Awards! The Editor-In-Chief notified Lynda and she let us know right away. It’s a big deal!

The magazine’s editors spent months anonymously patronizing businesses and services throughout the Bay Area, and came away with winners and runners-up in more than 275 categories. Bay Area Pet Pals landed on top of one of the categories, which is no easy feat!

Lynda was interviewed by the publication and the article about her and her business will be featured in the July issue. She will also get to attend the huge gala event held to honor the winners while supporting the Habitat for Humanity charity.

You see, Lynda has a BIG heart. She helps many people and she helps many, many animals. Lynda has adopted, rescued, donated, and loved with the best of them. It was her love of animals that led to her starting her first business in 1989 called Super Scoopers. It was such a hit that she was soon interviewed on several radio stations in the area. A reporter for the San Francisco Chronicle even asked to ride along with her for a day and he wrote a full column about her business.

As Lynda worked, her business grew. Soon her customers asked for more and she added services such as pet sitting, house sitting, dog walking, pet taxi services, and more. When family life had to take a front seat, she eventually scaled back for a few years – but in 2009 Bay Area Pet Pals was born and we are proud to have been contacted by Lynda back then to help her. She has been an awesome client to have ever since.

Now Bay Area Pet Pals employs at least 14 pet pals and their service area has grown exponentially. The testimonials and Yelp! reviews keep coming – and in 2014, Bay Area Pet Pals won the “Bay Woof’s 6th Annual Beast of the Bay Award” for their excellent service and contributions.

Now, being chosen as the ‘Best’ in a city the size of San Francisco is definitely something to bark about!

Congratulations Lynda! Keep up the great work! (We know you will!)
